Starting from Thursday, Albania will officially enter campaign season for the parliamentary elections on April 25th, even though electoral meetings and the programs of either political camp, have been presented since long ago. Both bigger parties, SP and DP, who are racing to win these elections, will be launching their campaigns in Tirana.

According to our sources, the parties will be launching their campaign at the same time, in the two main squares of the capital.

The Socialist party has announced that their meeting will be organized in the “Skanderbeg” square starting at 17:00 p.m. Whereas the Democratic party will be holding their meeting in “Mother Theresa” square, starting at 17:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the SMI is yet to announce a meeting, but their campaign will continue as planned.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has sent a letter to all political parties participating in these elections, reminding them to respect the Electoral Code and to keep administrations away from their electoral meetings.
